What to Expect. 

​Wear comfortable, unrestrictive clothes and be prepared to remove your shoes. Reflect on your personal needs, fears, goals and intensions for the session.​​

Upon arrival we will discuss your goals, and reasons for incorporating reiki into your wellness regimen. You can share as little (or as much) as you're comfortable with. Your intensions and reasons for coming can stay private to you; my goal is to provide a supportive stress-free environment for you to optimize your healing.  

 

Feel free to release emotions during your treatment. Energy healing treatments are designed to release and shed all that no longer serves you. 

You will lay fully clothed on a treatment table. We will take a few moments to focus on breathing and set intensions for your session.  After that, your only concern is to relax, be open and accepting to receiving reiki universal life energy and enjoy the experience.  I will assess your energy centers and proceed with a non-invasive treatment that involves little to no touch, but instead works above and around the body to facilitate the energy flow and clear blockages. Sound and aromatherapy may also be utilized to help clear energetic blockages, promote healing and foster self-awareness.  

Personal experiences may include a feeling of warmth, tingling or pulsating, visions of soothing images or colors, a release of emotions or physical toxins, or a deep sense of calm, clarity, and relaxation. Regardless of what you may or may not feel, your body will start the healing process with the integration of "Universal Life Force" energy. 

In the days following your body will continue the healing process.  Be sure to hydrate and listen to your body needs and wants, and practice self-love.  Results vary and are unique to each person depending on their individualized physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Be kind to yourself and indulge in rest and relaxation to encourage your mind and body to continue its release and detoxification. 

Initial clearing often requires a series of treatments to achieve the results one is looking for.  We all experience day to day stressors and regular maintenance is often required - standing/regularly scheduled appointments, or a specialized plan can be arranged to optimize your on-going wellness plan.
